No-show

When a client doesn't turn up to a booked appointment without notice.

A no-show is when a client misses a booked viewing, valuation or office meeting, or isn't at the property. It wastes the agent's time and sometimes travel costs.

The most common ways to reduce no-shows are a confirmation after booking, a reminder beforehand and an easy way to reschedule.

Why it matters for agencies

An agent's day is built around a handful of appointments. One no-show wipes out time that could have gone to another client.

Example

The day before a valuation, the seller gets a WhatsApp reminder, replies that they need a different time, and the appointment is moved.
