FSBO (for sale by owner) calling

Calling owners who sell or let their property privately to offer professional help and a valuation.

FSBO stands for "For Sale By Owner". In real estate, FSBO calling means reaching owners who advertise their property themselves, without an agent, and offering professional marketing, accurate pricing and a free valuation. In Turkey it is also known as "sahibinden" calling, after private listings.

The goal is winning listings: an interested owner moves to a valuation appointment and possibly an agency agreement. Calling rules for individuals apply (consent, do-not-call registers, GDPR or KVKK and İYS in Turkey), and a number published in an ad isn't necessarily consent to marketing calls. Portal terms of use must also be respected. This is general information, not legal advice.

Why it matters for agencies

Some private sellers look for professional help after a while. The agency that reaches them first, and in the right way, wins the listing. Manual FSBO calling eats agents' days, and who was called often gets lost in a spreadsheet.

Example

Atlas Realty uploads its own list of private sellers marked as callable to an outbound campaign. The voice agent rings each owner, offers a free valuation, books those who accept into the agent's calendar and tags and removes anyone who opts out.
