Term

Off-plan

Buying or selling property before it is built, usually from plans, renders and a show home.

Off-plan sales take place before construction is complete, often based on project visuals and a show flat. Payments are usually spread from a deposit through instalments until completion.

For developers and sales teams, off-plan means heavy advertising and high lead volumes. Pre-sale contracts and handover terms are subject to local regulation.

Why it matters for agencies

Launches generate large numbers of forms and calls in a short time. Answering them quickly and turning them into sales-suite visits largely decides how a campaign performs.

Example

Hundreds of forms arrive from a Meta campaign for a new residence. The voice agent calls each one back, asks whether they're buying to live in or invest, and books sales-suite visits into the calendar.
